Murkomen Promises to Guide APS Bomet to Premier League Glory

 

 Interior Cabinet Secretary, has said that APS Bomet, a football team that just got promoted to the Football Kenya Federation Premier League, will have his support as they navigate the country's top flight football next season. Moments after being appointed the club's patron, Murkomen expressed confidence that in the upcoming season, APS Bomet will finish among the top clubs in the Premier League after finishing second in the just concluded National Super League.

 Murkomen stated, "We will work together, and I know the responsibility that lies ahead is not easy, but I have faith that we can finish among the top teams gradually...then in the next three or four seasons we can challenge to win the Premier League." He added, "I know the responsibility that lies ahead is not easy." During a ceremony that brought together security top officials in the country and the APS Bomet team, Deputy Inspector General of Police Gilbert Masengeli, who also attended the event, shared his confidence in APS Bomet’s potential.

 "We have no doubt, we will at some point crown you the winners of the Football Kenya Federation Premier League," Masengeli added.

 For the newbies, APS now faces a major challenge next season competing at the top level.  In order to win the championship, the team will need to work hard against the best football teams in the country. In the 2024/25 National Super League, the team finished second on the log with 68 points, behind Nairobi United, who won the title with 72 points.
